Romanzo Criminale - The CD is a concept album inspired by the television series Romanzo Criminale, the series, produced by Sky Cinema and Cattleya.
The album was released on October 19, 2010, before the release of the second season of the series. 

The first single from the album is Libanese il Re, written and performed by Francesco de Sarcina from The Vibrazioni. Among the other artists who took part in the project we can find Pierluigi Ferrantini from Velvet, Roberto Angelini, Marco Cocci from Malfunk and Afterhours who made a English version of their song Ballad for my little hyena. 

Each song is inspired by and dedicated to a character in the television series. 

The album was produced by Matthew Cifelli and among the credits we cam find drummer Gary Wallis, who in the past worked with Pink Floyd and Genesis, guitarist Paul Stacey (Oasis) and Toby Chapman (Spandau Ballet)  

The record production is by XNote Ltd. under the supervision of Ryan Carrassi.
